Myka, Internet video for your TV, partners with movie distributor EZTakes

First of many content partnerships makes downloading, streaming high-quality video hassle-free

CONCORD, Mass., April 7, 2009 -- Myka, makers of the magic box that downloads and streams high-definition videos onto your TV, has entered into a content partnership with EZTakes, Internet distributor of more than 5,000 feature-length films.

Myka is a state-of-the-art video player that downloads files from the Internet onto its hard drive to be played back directly, in high definition, on your television. Myka's built-in downloading and streaming video capabilities let you bypass your PC entirely.

Now, in the first of many content partnerships to be announced, Myka's users can access EZTakes' extensive catalog of legal DRM-free movies, including independent, foreign and cult films you can't find in video stores. Initially, Myka customers will have easy on-line access to all of EZTakes' ad-supported movie streams. Later this year, the companies plan to also give Myka customers the ability to buy and download any of the over 5,000 films that are available from EZTakes.
